The Narva American Information Point was opened at Narva Central Library on March 24, 2004, with the support of the U.S. Embassy. Today, the Narva American Space operates in cooperation with Narva Central Library and the U.S. Embassy.
The U.S. Embassy supports the American Space through grants, providing print and audiovisual materials about the United States, as well as modern information technology. Grant funding also supports the purchase of furniture, computers, and other IT equipment.
The Narva American Space offers a wide range of projects, programs, and events that provide opportunities to learn more about American culture, society, education, and different aspects of life in the United States. Activities include lectures, film screenings, conferences, seminars, workshops, conversation clubs, English language classes, TOEFL-related activities, and much more.
Visitors are also welcome to join the English Conversation Club, where they can learn more about the United States while developing their English communication skills.
The American Club meets twice a month.
In 2026, English language sessions take place on Tuesdays: January 13 and 27; February 10 and 17; March 3 and 17; April 7 and 28; May 5 and 12, from 11:00 to 13:00.
Target group: Adults aged 50+
Level: Pre-Intermediate
Goal: To refresh and improve participants' English language skills and encourage continued learning.

The Conversation Club meets twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 17:00.
The club is open to anyone who speaks English and would like to practise through active conversation. Participants' English proficiency ranges from Intermediate to Advanced.
The aim of the club is to help participants develop their English listening and speaking skills, broaden their horizons, meet new people, and build confidence in communicating and discussing a wide range of topics in English.
The sessions are led by a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant from America. Participants also have the valuable opportunity to practise English with a native speaker and engage in conversations with guest speakers.
English Language Support sessions take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:00 to 16:00.

The sessions are open to everyone, regardless of their English proficiency level – from beginners to advanced learners.
The aim is to help participants develop their listening and speaking skills, broaden their knowledge, and provide practical support with homework and writing assignments, as well as with preparing university and job applications and CVs.
The sessions are led by Catherine Sorokin, a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. Participants also have the valuable opportunity to practise English with a native speaker, helping them develop more natural language skills and greater confidence in communication.

GLOBE is a NASA-supported international hands-on science and education program focused on environmental research. It promotes science education, environmental awareness, and scientific discovery. As part of the program, students and teachers collect environmental data and upload their findings to the GLOBE online platform.
Narva American Space has a GLOBE measurement equipment kit available for schools to use in classroom activities and for other educational purposes.

Narva American Space, located on the first floor of Narva Central Library, invites students aged 14+ and adult learners to take part in a 3D Modelling and Printing Course.
The course is organised by arrangement. Each session lasts two academic hours, and groups consist of 2–7 participants.
The course is free of charge and is conducted in Russian.
During the course, participants are introduced to modern 3D technologies, work in the MakerLab, learn how to use Autodesk Tinkercad for 3D modelling, and use FlashForge and PreForm software to prepare their models for printing.
Participants develop practical skills in 3D modelling and printing a variety of objects.
The course is open to registered Narva Central Library users aged 14 and over who have read the Rules for Using the 3D Printer in advance.

On the last Thursday of every month, Narva American Space hosts film evenings where participants watch and discuss films and explore topics related to cinema, culture, and society.
