The plot of the movie follows a young lion cub named Simba. After losing his father, Mufasa, due to the cunning of his uncle Scar, Simba runs away from home to escape the pain he feels. After years in the jungle with care-free friends, Simba must again return to his kingdom to save the other animals from the tyranny of his uncle Scar.
